Charity

The female figure has been (and still remains) a prominent subject in painting and sculpture throughout human history, and yet women all over the world today are still fighting for gender equality. A rather sad figure reported in 2019 by Melinda Gates shows that women and girl focused non-profits receive only 1.6% of all charitable donations.

While money alone cannot solve the problem of inequality and the gender gap, I believe that significant change often starts with small, thoughtful action. We women deserve better. So I've chosen to support vetted non-profits whose mission is to help women and girls in the domains of education, equal rights and self-improvement, locally and globally.

10% of all Rainbow Girl profits will be donated to the following non-profit organizations:

  • Truth Be Told
Truth Be Told is a Texas-based non-profit that provides transformational programs for women who are or have been incarcerated, resulting in increased self-worth, accountability, and positive contributions to society.
  • Malala Fund
Malala Fund invests in education activists and advocates who are driving solutions to barriers to girls’ education in their communities.
  • Equality Now
Equality Now is an international human rights organization using the law to protect & promote the rights of women & girls since 1992.
